- If you have installed the Instagram app, open it or else download and login with your account
- Once opened, find a photo that you are planning to download.
- After you open the picture, you will find 3 dots at the top right.
- Click on it and a new menu will appear.

- There will be a button called “Save”.

You may not be able to download an Instagram video directly as a picture or image. There are various steps to follow in this case.
Follow these steps to easily download Instagram video
- Open the Instagram app.
- Find the video that you want to download.
- Click on the three dots at the top right.
- Now in the menu you will see a button called “Copy Link”
- Click on the link and now the link will be copied.
- Go to any browser and paste the link.
- From there you will be able to download the video.
As Instagram provides all the basic options to download any video, reel or photo, it is advisable to not use any 3rd party app to do it as it may cause privacy issues.
