WhatsApp is releasing many useful features for its users, and recently they are on a roll. Many upcoming features make the IM app more user-friendly. Recently, we had tested the features like Side-by-side use of WhatsApp for tables, transferring chats from one iPhone to another without iCloud and many more. Now one of the most needed feature on WhatsApp is expected to be released soon.
Earlier, if you have sent a message on WhatsApp, you may not be able to edit it but, presently on the beta version of the app, you can edit the messages that you have send already. This is applicable for both personal and group messages. With this feature, users will be able to edit messages after they have sent if any mistakes or typos are present on the messages. Earlier, the issue was like, users needed to delete the messages sent and resend the message to correct it.

According to Wabetainfo, this feature is under development and is available for beta testers. If you are a beta tester in Android iOS, you can check this feature out by downloading 126.96.36.199 for iOS and 188.8.131.52 for Android. Once a user has edited a message, other members in the group will be notified about the edited message.
For people who are using the older version of WhatsApp will also receive this update so that they can also be aware of the messages that are edited. This feature will be available for WhatsApp web version as well. If a user edits a message sent through WhatsApp web, it also will be reflected on the mobile version of the app as well. Beta testers who have not received this update will be getting it soon. You can check for the update on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

How to edit sent messages on WhatsApp
The process of editing messages on WhatsApp will be easy. One thing to not here is that you should have the latest version of WhatsApp. Follow these steps. Open WhatsApp and find the message that you need to edit. Once found, long press the message and there will be an edit option, click on it, and you can submit the edited message. For messages that are edited on any group, all members of the group will be notified.
Please note that this feature is under development and testing is going on using the WhatsApp beta program.
